Article about C3 meeting from Slovak team

From 19 February to 26 February 2022, two teachers of our grammar school (Ema Rančáková, Natália Motz) and four students (Jakub Hvorečný II.A, Lívia Hybrantová III.A, Karin Kitašová III.A, Katarína Puterová III. C) took part in another Erasmus + exchange programme, this time in Reykjavik, Iceland. The aim of this international meeting, which was attended by students and teachers from other countries (specifically Greece, Iceland, Poland, Sweden, and Italy), was mainly to increase knowledge about cyberbullying, e-commerce, and also to raise awareness of the digital footprint.

Our students lived in Icelandic families for a week, and among other things they also got to know a new culture, flavours of Icelandic cuisine, and strengthened mutual friendly relations between the partner schools. The hosts have prepared for us a really varied program full of workshops with experts on the issue. There was no shortage of creative moments when students could create T-shirts with logos on the topic of “Digital footprint” in the laboratory or collaborate on the creation of videos related to cyberbullying. In addition to education and professional discussions, we also took the time to get to know Iceland’s most famous attractions and local cuisine.

We are utterly grateful for an unforgettable week in Iceland, and we believe that we will soon work with the newly acquired knowledge and create lectures for students of our grammar school.
