In the summer month of August, an Italian student came to see us. Our students got to know him thanks to the Erasmus+ Digital Competence and eSafety project, through which they travelled to Italy in April 2022. Bernardo liked and still does like Slovakia very much. During the week in Slovakia, he had the opportunity to explore our country in many different ways. He visited Trenčín castle, tasted “halušky” and even managed to learn a few Slovak words. During that week, he explored the whole of Žilina as well. Bernardo liked Budatín castle and the cycling path from Budatín to the Žilina water dam the most. We all hope that friendships made during the Erasmus+ week will stay forever.
